TMJ can be extremely painful and difficult to treat because of the simplistic nature of the disorders.
These are different levels of mobility and pain and can be combined with other conditions to cause more pain or exasperate the condition as a whole.
Some of the most common symptoms of TMJ problems include pain, mobility issues, dislocated jaw and other arthritic feeling symptoms.
You may be able to do this over the phone, though it is a good idea to meet in person so they can check your jaw for dislocation, clicking and other harmful symptoms that may need to be corrected before the pain and mobility issues can be addressed.
You can use a hot compress to decrease the mobility and pain issues you are experiencing from symptoms of TMJ problems and of course rely on an OTC or prescribed pain medication to help you deal with the pain associated with TMJ.
If this is the case, consider talking with your doctor about pain management or TMJ prevention so you will have a plan of action for when you start experiencing your TMJ symptoms and the pain they can cause.
